Subterranean Termite Control

Subterranean Termite Control

When it comes to subterranean termites, they tend to form their colonies in the soil and gain moisture from the ground. However, when most people think of subterranean termites they think of the kind that nests in wet wood. Any wood that comes into contact with the ground is a welcoming mat for termites to enter and attack your home. Here in south Florida, the subterranean termites actually thrive in both situations and can cause significant damage.

Generally speaking, there are usually between 10-15 subterranean termite colonies per acre, which translates to as many as five termite colonies per house. Plus, each colony can contain up to 1,000,000 subterranean termites so the threat of a home invasion is very real.

Less Pesticides, More Common Sense

Other local pest control companies tend to pour hundreds of gallons of termite poisons into the ground but usually fail to destroy all of the colonies completely. With Beach Environmental’s Subterranean Termite Control, we use the Sentricon® System. This allows us to use less chemicals than most other companies while still destroying the source of the problem.

Sentricon is also the first and only termite product to be awarded the Presidential Green Chemistry Award by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

How Does the Sentricon System Differ?

Sentricon defeats termites at their own game. Our professionals will set up patented Sentricon Stations around your yard which contain the Recruit HD termite bait which attracts termites.

The termites quickly eat the highly desirable, highly durable, and highly dense bait, but never detect the threat — not even while the active ingredient is taking away their ability to eat, survive and reproduce. The result is death to the queen, her colony and the salvation of your home.
